Rupee drops 12 paise against USD

Mumbai, Mar 20 (Reporter) The Rupee on Wednesday lost another 12 paise to close at 83.16 against USD on brisk demand for US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said. The local unit that improved four paise at 83.01 in opening trade, later it went down and settled at 83.16, sliding 12 paise as compared to its previous close.
