Rupee advanced 7 paise against USD

Mumbai, Feb 1 (Reporter) The rupee on Thursday gained seven paise at 82.98 in the opening session on the selling of the US dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said. The local unit went up because of the weak dollar against other world currencies and the robust equity market in the opening session.
