Srinagar, Dec 23 (Reporter) Union Cabinet Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment, Dr. Virendra Kumar distributed appointment letters to 109 candidates during a Rozgar Mela held at the Border Security Force (BSF) Humhama camp here on Monday.
The event took place simultaneously at 45 locations across the country during which Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the newly appointed candidates through virtual mode.
The Union Cabinet Minister distributed the letters to 109 newly recruited candidates from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Haryana, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Punjab.
These appointees will serve in various organizations such as the BSF, CISF, Assam Rifles, Postal Services, Banking Sector, Department of Higher Education, and Central University of Kashmir, among others.
This is the fourteenth tranche of Rozgar Mela of handling over Offer of Appointment letters to the newly inducted recruits, a statement of the BSF said.
Speaking on the occasion, Union Minister Kumar highlighted the government's mission mode recruitment drive, highlighting its role in creating employment opportunities for the youth.
He urged the new appointees to be considerate and empathetic while addressing the issues of the people.
The Minister reiterated the Prime Minister’s commitment to empowering youth and addressing employment challenges, further solidifying the Rozgar Mela’s role in nation-building.
Earlier, Inspector General, BSF Kashmir, Ashok Yadav welcomed the dignitaries and participants. DIG, BSF Kashmir, Alok Chakravarty congratulated the new appointees and expressed gratitude to the Government of India for hosting the event at the Humhama Campus...////...
