Hyderabad, Mar 29 (Reporter) Telangana Chief Minister, A Revanth Reddy, expressed confidence that the Congress party would secure a 200-vote majority in the Mahabubnagar Local Authorities Constituency's Member of Legislative Council election held on Thursday.
Addressing a meeting at Gandhi Bhavan, Reddy criticized BJP and BRS for allegedly conspiring to defeat Congress in the Palamuru (Mahabubnagar) Lok Sabha elections. He accused BJP candidate D K Aruna of neglecting constituency development and emphasized the need for Sampath, the Congress candidate, to secure a strong position within the party.
Reddy pledged to take responsibility for the welfare of the Valmiki and Boyaa communities, assuring that their demands would be fulfilled after the Lok Sabha elections.
Regarding the phone tapping issue, Reddy criticized BRS Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) for irresponsible remarks. He highlighted past complaints about phone tapping during the opposition's tenure and condemned the invasion of privacy, stating that even conversations between spouses were intercepted.
Reddy highlighted the achievements of Congress during the 100-day rule in Telangana, emphasizing the implementation of acclaimed schemes and prompt payment of government employee salaries. He vowed to continue addressing public issues and criticized the previous government for neglecting voters' concerns...////...
