Ayodhya (UP), Jan 22 (Reporter) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday said that the Ram temple has been constructed exactly where it was resolved to be built.
Speaking on the consecration ceremony for the Lord Ram in Ayodhya Dham, the CM said,"Hearty congratulations to all as Lord Shri Ram Lalla is enshrined in his 'bhavya-divya-navya' dham. On this eagerly anticipated day, after a hiatus of 500 years, emotions swell in the heart to a degree where words fail to capture the profound sentiments. The mind is immersed in a sea of emotions, profoundly moved and overwhelmed. Undoubtedly, each of you must be experiencing a similar sentiment."
He said, "Today, on this historic and profoundly sacred occasion, every city and village in India transforms into Ayodhya Dham. Every route converges toward the birthplace of Lord Ram. All eyes are wet with tears of joy and satisfaction and everyone is chanting Ram-Ram. The entire nation is ‘Rammay,' giving us a feeling that we have stepped into the era of Treta Yuga."
Yogi said, "Today, Raghunandan Raghav Ramlala graces the throne of our resolution as it were, which is filled with emotions. Joy, pride, and a profound sense of contentment fill the hearts of every devotee of Ram on this auspicious day."
He said that the day which India had been eagerly awaiting has arrived. "Nearly five centuries have passed in anticipation of this emotional moment. Dozens of generations left this land for Saketdham (heaven) with unfulfilled wishes, but the wait and the struggle continued," he said.
The CM said that Shri Ram Janmabhoomi might have been the first such unique case in the world, in which the majority community of a nation had fought for so many years and at so many levels for the construction of a temple at the birthplace of their idol in their own country.
He said, "Every section of society, including ascetics, saints, priests, Nagas, Nihangs, intellectuals, politicians and tribals, rose above caste-creed, thought-philosophy, cult-worship systems and dedicated themselves to the cause of Ram."
Yogi said, "Finally, today marks the auspicious occasion when the sacrifices and penance of millions of Sanatani believers find fulfillment. There is a deep sense of satisfaction that the temple stands exactly where it was resolved to be built."
He said, "Heartfelt gratitude and congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the realization of our sankalp (pledge) and sadhna (asceticism) for bringing an end to our prolonged wait, and for the fulfillment of our resolution."
The CM said, "We have all become witnesses to the consecration of Lord Ram in the sanctum sanctorum, performed in accordance with Vedic rituals. It is a supernatural image of our Lord, precisely as described by Saint Tulsidas "Navkanj lochan, kanj mukh, kar kanj, pad kanjarunam (With freshly bloomed lotus-like eyes, lotus-like face, lotus-like hands and feet as tender as a lotus)."
He said, "Amidst the turmoil of thoughts and emotions, I am remembering the virtues of the saints and my Guru tradition. Today, their souls must be experiencing profound satisfaction and joy. Here, I extend my utmost respect to the sacred memory of the generations of traditions that sacrificed their lives in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mukti Yagya."
Yogi said that Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mukti Mahayagya was not merely a test of Sanatan belief, it successfully awakened the collective consciousness of the nation, uniting India in the thread of unity.
He said, "Witnessing this long-awaited new dawn unfold in India after centuries, the whole of India, including Ayodhya, is filled with joy. Our generation is fortunate to be witnessing the completion of this work in the service of Shri Ram and even more fortunate are those who have dedicated everything to Ram-kaaj and are still continuing to do so."
The CM said that the life of Lord Ram teaches people us dignified conduct and the importance of self-restraint. With each new day, our resolve became stronger. "Today, Ayodhya is basking in the radiance of its Treta Yuga glory, becoming a global symbol of divinity and grandeur. This sacred city is progressively solidifying its position as the cultural capital of the world, captivating the attention of people worldwide. The divya and bhavya Ayodhya is now witnessed by the entire globe," he said.
He said that the remarkable transformation has been made possible through the resolute determination, willpower and foresight of the PM. "Just a few years ago, envisioning an airport in Ayodhya was beyond imagination. Yet, here we are, with an airport, a 4-lane road within the city, and the introduction of cruises along the Saryu River. This dream is coming true due to the efforts of the double engine government," he said.
Yogi said that the work of rejuvenation, conservation, operation and maintenance of various places like Ram Ji Ki Paidi, Naya Ghat, Guptar Ghat, Brahmakund was being done here. "Cultural mapping of the Ramayana tradition is being done, while the process of constructing Ramayana galleries on the Ram Van Gaman Path is going on with commitment," he said.
He said, "The new Ayodhya not only preserves its ancient culture and civilization but also embraces modern urban development to cater to future needs. Inspired by the esteemed Prime Minister, it is evolving into a Solar City that harmonizes tradition with contemporary urban amenities."
The CM said that the new Ayodhya is moving towards becoming a major center for Sanatan believers, saints, tourists, researchers and inquisitive people from all over the world. "This is not the development of a city or a pilgrimage site, rather it is the victory of the faith which is embodied in the coat of arms of India as 'Satyamev Jayate'. This is the victory of public faith and public trust. Glory is restored," he said.
He said that the divine Deepotsav of Ayodhya is becoming the cultural identity of the new India and the consecration ceremony of Shri Ram Lalla is proving to be a harmonious expression of the cultural conscience of India.
Yogi said that the consecration of Ram Lalla heralds the proclamation of the establishment of Ram Rajya in India. "The concept of Ramrajya symbolizes a society characterized by harmony and devoid of discrimination. It is the basis of the policies, thoughts and plans of our PM," he said.
Prior to the ceremony, CM and Goraksh Peethadheeshwar Yogi extended a warm welcome to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat. He also presented silver models of Shri Ram Temple to both the PM and the RSS Chief as a gesture of honoring them...////...
