Patna, Apr 7 (Reporter) Top Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will visit Bihar on Monday and participate in " Palayan Roko Naukari Do " Padyatra of Congress in Begusarai besides attending other programmes being organised by the party. Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC)President Rajesh Ram told media person here that Gandhi would leave for Begusarai straight from Patna Airport after his arrival here from New Delhi. Gandhi, to participate in " Palayan Roko Naukari Do " Padyatra taken out by party from Bhitiharwa, which would culminate in Patna on April 11. Padyatra was organised by Congress to expose the failures of Nitish-led NDA government in Bihar in checking migration of people to other states of the country in search of their livelihood as they were not getting jobs in Bihar itself, he added. Leader of Congress legislative party in Bihar assembly Shakeel Ahmad Khan, said that Narendra Modi government had done an unlawful act by passing the Waqf Board Amendment Bill in Parliament. It was totally against the Muslim community, which could not be accepted, he stressed. " People of the country are united to counter the move taken by Narendra Modi government on the Waqf Board Amendment Bill ", Khan said, adding that his party would oppose the move on the streets and also in court. Even Muslim leaders of JD(U) were opposed to Waqf Board Amendment Bill and they had left press conference midway without responding to queries of media persons in this connection, he further said adding that JD(U) leaders were pressurised by the party leadership to publicly support Waqf Board Amendment Bill, despite their annoyance over the issue, he remarked...////...
