Sultanpur (UP), July 25 (Reporter) Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi will appear before an MP-MLA court in a defamation case on Friday, a party office-bearer said here. District president of Congress Abhishek Singh Rana said that Rahul will land at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport at Lucknow at 9 am. He said that from there he will reach Sultanpur by road and will appear before the MP-MLA court. It may be noted that local Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Vijay Mishra lodged a case against Rahul Gandhi on August 4, 2018 accusing him of making objectionable remarks against the then party president and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Bengaluru.
