Quake measuring 6.4 hits Tajikistan: EMSC

Dushanbe, Apr 13 (Reporter) A magnitude 6.4 earthquake occurred in Tajikistan, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported. The earthquake occurred on Sunday at 4:24 GMT at a distance of more than 170 kilometers southeast of the city of Khujand with a population of more than 198,000 people. The epicenter was located at a depth of 16 kilometers. There are no reports of possible casualties or damage yet. Hours earlier, earthquakes of magnitude 5.5 and 5.7 occurred in central Myanmar and off coast of Papua New Guinea, respectively...////...
