Chandigarh, Nov 18 (Reporter) Punjab Women Commission on Monday sent a notice to Jalandhar Congress MP Charanjit Singh Channi over his alleged derogatory comments against women during the recent byelection campaign. The notice sent by the Commission's Chairperson Raj Lali Gill asked Channi to explain by appearing before it on Tuesday. In a rally at Gidderbaha in support of Congress candidate Amrita Warring, targeting BJP, the MP had allegedly used objectionable language against women.
