Punjab: Over 15 farmers reportedly injured at Shambhu border

Chandigarh, Dec 14 (Reporter) More than 15 farmers were reportedly injured on Saturday when Haryana police, in a bid to stop farmers resuming their Delhi march from Shambhu border, used tear gas, pepper spray and water cannon. Wrestler and Congress' farmers wing leader Bajrang Punia posted a video on his "X" account and alleged that police was lobbying tear gas shells constantly and it was the height of oppression. So far, police have not allowed farmers to cross the barricades. Earlier, mobile internet services were suspended in parts of Ambala. Haryana minister Anil Vij advised farmers to listen to the Supreme Court and postpone their agitation for a few days.
