Punjab : HC grants 3-hour parole to Rajoana on Nov 20 to attend brother Bhog ceremony

Chandigarh, Nov 19 (Reporter) Punjab and Haryana High Court on Tuesday granted a three-hour-parole to 57-year-old death row convict Balwant Singh Rajoana to attend his brother's Bhog ceremony. Rajoana was awarded the death sentence for the assassination of the then Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh in 1995. He was granted parole from 1100 hours to 1400 hours on Wednesday to attend the "Bhog ceremony" of his brother Kulwant Singh in Ludhiana village, who died in the first week of this month...////...
