Chandigarh, Mar 28 (Reporter) Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar on Thursday sought a probe into the "AAP sponsored hooliganism and threats" to Lok Sabha member Sushil Kumar Rinku and MLA Sheetal Angural, who have crossed over to the saffron outfit. Jakhar also urged the Election Commission to deeply probe allegations by AAP MLA Goldy Kamboj and two other leaders that they were offered Rs 25 crore by the BJP to switch loyalty. Jakhar said the truth should be brought out before the people of Punjab. Slamming the language used by AAP leaders against MP Rinku and MLA Angural, he said this reeks of their frustration at leaders and people from all parties trusting the development agenda of BJP under PM Narendra Modi's leadership and command. BJP is committed to ensuring India's onward rise through growth and development and 140-crore Indians are fully conscious of incremental successes India has had in the last 10 years under PM Modi, he added. In Jakhar's presence, Rakesh Kumar - SAD (Badal) candidate from Bhoa Assembly constituency in 2022 - joined BJP along with his supporters...////...
