Chandigarh, Sep 30 (Reporter) Four persons were killed and 15 others were injured when a bus collided into a bus queue shelter on Batala-Kadian Road in Batala of Gurdaspur district on Monday, police said. According to sources the driver of the ill-fated bus lost balance over the vehicle in an attempt to save a scooter rider and rammed into a bus stop shade. The injured have been rushed to nearby hospitals. Some of the seriously injured persons have been referred to Amritsar hospital. Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann expressed grief over the accident and said on "X" that he had spoken to administration and the officers were helping the victims on the spot.
