Pune NCP (AP) leader Deepak Mankar may get MLC seat under governor quota

Pune, Sep 8 (Reporter) Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar group) leaders from Pune have urged their party chief to consider getting Pune unit President Deepak Mankar appointed as a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Council under the Governor's quota, a party leader said on Sunday. The NCP (AP) will get three seats out of the 12 seats which are filled under the quota. NCP Pune City Vice President Datta Sagare along with other senior party workers have demanded that Mankar should be given a chance as a Legislative Council member. Sagare said that party workers are meeting party's National president Ajit Pawar to request him for getting Mankar appointee as MLC under the governor's quota. The process to fill 12 MLC seats under the governor's quota in the Legislative Council has gained momentum. Out of these 12 seats, BJP will get 6 seats, Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde) 3 seats and Ajit Pawar group's NCP will get three seats...////...
