Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that public servants are the medium through which the government’s spirit of public welfare and development is implemented on the ground. He said good governance plays a vital role in Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India. Ensuring that the benefits of schemes and programmes aimed at public welfare and people’s upliftment reach the last person standing at the last mile is proof of a public servant’s commitment to their duty.
CM Dr. Yadav said that officers selected through the civil services examination are expected to discharge their responsibilities with courage, selflessness, integrity, and dedication. They should also enhance the system’s effectiveness through innovations. The Chief Minister was addressing the 2020 and 2021 batch Deputy Collectors on Wednesday. Twenty-seven trainee officers undergoing introductory training at the Academy of Administration, Bhopal, visited the Chief Minister at Samatva Bhavan, CM Residence, for a courtesy call.
