Wayanad, Oct 22 (UN) AICC General secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra reached Wayanad in Kerala on Tuesday night for filing her nomination for the Lok Sabha by-poll. Priyanka, accompanied by her mother and Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP) Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, husband Robert vadra and their son Taihan Vadra, reached here by road from Mysore around 8-45 pm. They will spend the night in a local hotel. On Wednesday morning, AICC chief Malikarjun Kharge and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhiwill arrive at Dulthan Bathery on a helicopter and reach Kalpetta by road. Later, they will attend the roadshow at Kalpetta town around 11 am ahead of Priyanka Gandhi filing nomination for the upcoming Lok Sabha by-poll which will be her maiden electoral battle. The bypoll was necessitated following the resignation of Rahul Gandhi after he decided to retain the Rae Bareli seat. Gandhi had won from both Rae Bereli and Wayanad in the LS poll earlier this year.
