Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi interacted, on Saturday interacted virtually with Shri Manohar Mewada, a beneficiary from Pipaliya Meera Gram Panchayat, Sehore district, during the e-distribution of property cards under the Swamitva Yojana. Prime Minister Shri Modi asked Shri Manohar about the impact of receiving the property card under the scheme on his life. Beneficiary Shri Manohar Mewada shared that before receiving the property card under the Swamitva Yojana, he was unable to secure a bank loan due to the lack of land documentation. After obtaining the card, he easily secured a Rs 10 lakh loan, which he used to start a dairy farm with five cows and a buffalo. The farm generates a monthly income of Rs 30 thousand, from which he pays Rs 16,000 as a bank installment. His family actively supports the dairy farm, and the additional income from animal husbandry has significantly benefited them alongside their farming activities.
