New Delhi, Sep 16 (Reporter) Industrialist Gautam Adani-led Adani group has dismissed issuing any “press release” relating to its operations in Kenya and said “certain vested interests with malicious intent” are circulating multiple fraudulent press releases. The group issued a statement quoting its spokesperson said one such “fake” press release titled “Adani Group Denounces Baseless Accusations and Threats”, related to our presence in Kenya is being circulated. “We categorically state that neither the Adani Group nor any of its companies or subsidiaries have issued any Press Releases related to Kenya,” the group statement said. It strongly condemned this “deceitful” act and urged everyone to disregard these fake fraudulent releases completely. It also threatened to take legal action against anyone involved in spreading false narratives, the spokesperson added.
