President Smt. Draupadi Murmu was accorded a warm welcome at Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport by Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav with bouquets. Union Minister of State Smt. Savitri Thakur, MP Shri V.D. Sharma, Urban Development and Housing Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsiram Silawat, Chief Secretary Smt. Veera Rana, Lieutenant General Shri Gajendra Joshi, Lieutenant General Shri Harjeet Singh Sahi, DGP Shri Sudhir Saxena Divisional Commissioner Shri Deepak Singh, Police Commissioner Indore Zone Shri Rakesh Gupta, and Collector Shri Ashish Singh also welcomed President Smt. Murmu by presenting bouquets. President Smt. Murmu reached Indore on Wednesday on a two-day visit to Madhya Pradesh.

President Smt. Draupadi Murmu during her visit to Indore visited Mrignayani Emporium and saw silk and cotton, Chanderi and Maheshwari sarees. She had discussions with artisans and weavers from tribal areas and appreciated their artistry. The artists presented handcrafted items made by themselves to the President.
