New Delhi, Oct 2 (Reporter) President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday extended Rosh Hashanah or New Year greetings to their Israeli counterparts and the Jewish community.
President Murmu, in a post on X, said:
“Excellency @Isaac_Herzog
"On behalf of the government and people of India, I extend Rosh Hashanah greetings to you and the entire Jewish community across Israel and the world.”
The Israeli President Herzog in reply posted:
“Thank you dear friend. May we bring all our hostages back home and bring security and peace on our borders and throughout the Middle East.”
PM Modi in his greetings posted:
“Best wishes on Rosh Hashanah to my friend PM @netanyahu, the people of Israel and the Jewish community across the world. May the new year bring peace, hope and good health in everyone’s life.
Shana Tova!”
