Mumbai, Apr 11 (Reporter) Shiv Sena (UBT) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut said on Friday that there is "a political motive" behind bringing Tahawwur Rana to India. "Rana has been brought to India for the Bihar and West Bengal assembly elections," alleged Raut. Speaking on the Tahawwur Rana case, Raut said that "Rana will be hanged before the Bihar and West Bengal elections and this issue will be used for campaigning before the elections". "All BJP members take decisions based on the timing," said Raut. "If Rana has been brought to India, the administration and the investigation agencies should be praised, why should BJP take credit for it? The process to bring Rana to India had started during the Congress period, so the ruling party should not take credit," he added. "Before Rana, Abu Salem was also brought to India through a similar process," Raut indirectly hit out at BJP.
