Srinagar, Jan 9 (Reporter) Police on Tuesday attached residential houses of two notorious drug peddlers in Jammu Kashmir’s Pulwama district. Police in Pulwama today attached a double-storied residential house valuing approximately Rs 20,97,291 belonging to a notorious drug peddler Fayaz Ahmad Rather at Karimabad and Two Shops with 2nd floor as residential apartment valuing approximately Rs 27,35,186 of Mohdammad Maqbool Bhat alias Tola resident of Dalipora Pulwama under section 8/21-29 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act 1985. The attachment was carried out in accordance with the due legal process outlined in FIR No. 301/2023 U/S 8/21-29 NDPS Act of Police Station Pulwama, underscoring the vigilant stance of Pulwama Police against those involved in the drug trade. This action follows a thorough investigation, identifying these properties as illegally acquired during the course of illicit drug trafficking, police said.
