Srinagar, Dec 8 (Reporter) Police have arrested two drug peddlers in separate incidents and recovered contraband substance from their possession in Kashmir valley on Sunday. Police on a tip off raided the house of one Manzoor Ahmad Bhat a resident of Nadigam in central Kashmir's Budgam district and recovered 14 Kgs of Charas Powder from there. The accused was arrested on the spot, police said. Meanwhile in Handwara, a Police at a checkpoint established at Kachwari Handwara, in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district arrested a drug peddler identified as Irshad Ahmad Sofi a resident of Bakiakher. “During search, 100 grams of Charas was recovered from his possession”, they said.
