New Delhi, May 22 (Reporter) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate a two-day Summit here on May 23 to highlight India's Northeastern region as a land of opportunity to attract global and domestic investment there. The two-day Rising Northeast Investors Summit will focus on tourism, agro-food processing, textiles, information technology, infrastructure, energy, entertainment and sports. The Summit aims at highlighting Northeastern Region as a land of opportunity and attract global and domestic investment, an official release said. It is the culmination of various pre-summit activities like roadshows, states' roundtables, Ambassadors' meets and Bilateral Chambers' Meet organised by the Center and northeastern states.
