Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee played a pivotal role in addressing the challenges that country faced before and immediately after independence. He highlighted that only a great man like Dr. Mukherjee could grasp the horrors of the Bengal Partition Plan and foresee the challenges in Jammu and Kashmir. Dr. Mukherjee's appointment as the Vice-Chancellor of Kolkata University at the age of 33, followed by his role as a Minister, showcased his exceptional intelligence. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav made these remarks during his address on the Balidan Divas of Bharatiya Jan Sangh founder Dr. Mukherjee, after paying floral tributes and garlanding his statue near the BJP office.
