PM Narendra Modi Addresses Nation in ‘Mann Ki Baat’

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed the nation on Sunday through the ‘Mann Ki Baat’, broadcast on All India Radio. Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav watched and listened to the Prime Minister’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ broadcast at the venue of the Mass Marriage Ceremony in Ujjain.

Prime Minister Shri Modi highlighted several key national developments in his address. These included the special observance of Constitution Day, nationwide programmes marking 150 years of ‘Vande Mataram’, the hoisting of the sacred Dharma Dhwaja at the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the inauguration of the world’s largest LEAP engine MRO facility in Hyderabad, achievements of the Indian Navy, major accomplishments in the agriculture sector, India’s bid to host the Commonwealth Games, ISRO’s unique drone competition, the success of Chandrayaan-3, the GI tag awarded to Ramban Sulai Honey, record production of honey in India, the Mahabharat Experience Centre in Kurukshetra (Haryana), the memorable Gita Mahotsav in Latvia (Europe), the remarkable contributions of Jam Saheb Maharaja Digvijay Singh of Navanagar (Gujarat), natural farming practices in South India, the Kashi Tamil Sangam, induction of INS Mahe into the Indian Navy, tourism linked to the Navy, winter tourism and winter sports, ‘Wed in India’ campaign, the global reverence for the sacred relics of Lord Buddha, the ‘Vocal for Local’ initiative, the Indian women’s cricket team’s victory in the ICC Women’s World Cup, India’s best-ever performance at the Deaf Olympics in Tokyo, the women players’ victory in the Kabaddi World Cup, the performance of Indian athletes in the World Boxing Cup finals, the women’s team’s triumph in the Blind Cricket World Cup, the emerging culture of endurance sports and the ‘Fit India Sundays on Cycle’ initiative.

Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Shri Durgadas Uikey, Madhya Pradesh Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsiram Silawat, Vice-Chairman of the Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad Shri Mohan Nagar and other public representatives were present on the occasion.
