New Delhi, May 27 (Reporter) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated Lithuania’s President Gitanas Nauseda on being re-elected to the post in the Baltic nation’s presidential election. In a post on X, PM Modi said that he looks forward to working together to further strengthen the close bilateral cooperation between the two nations. “Congratulations to H.E. @GitanasNauseda on being re-elected as the President of the Republic of Lithuania. I look forward to working together to further strengthen the close cooperation between India and Lithuania.” President Nausėda won 74.6% of votes with 90% of ballots counted after polls closed on Sunday in the second-round vote.
