Moscow/New Delhi, July 8 (Reporter) Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Moscow on Monday afternoon for the annual summit meeting with President Vladimir Putin. He was received by First Deputy PM Denis Manturov at the airport. The MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal in a post on X said: “PM @narendramodi lands in Moscow for the 22nd India-Russia Annual Summit. “Warmly received by First Deputy PM Denis Manturov of Russia at the airport. “PM is set to hold substantive discussions with President Vladimir Putin to take forward the special partnership between the two countries. He will also interact with the Indian community in Russia.” Tonight, President Putin is set to host a private dinner for Prime Minister Modi. Tomorrow, Prime Minister is to interact with the Indian community in Russia. He will lay a wreath at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Kremlin. Later, he will visit the Rosatom Pavilion at the exhibition venue in Moscow. At the Kremlin, the two leaders will hold restricted level talks, followed by delegation level talks. The 22nd annual summit between India and Russia will provide an opportunity to the two leaders to review the whole range of bilateral issues, including defence, trade linkages, investment ties, energy cooperation, Science and Technology, education, culture, and people-to-people exchanges. They would also share perspectives on regional and global developments of mutual interest.
