Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel said that both the Central and State governments are prioritizing the welfare of specially backward tribes. Through a targeted campaign, essential facilities such as roads, electricity, water, schools, and Anganwadi centres are being provided in Sahariya, Baiga, and Bhariya tribal settlements. Governor Shri Patel made these comments while interacting with villagers in village Chilwaha, Raisen district, on Monday. Governor Shri Patel expressed his happiness while visiting the village, stating that he is very impressed with the positive changes in the lives of the tribal community, including concrete houses, drinking water facilities, and sanitation arrangements. He praised Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for his continuous efforts for the welfare of backward classes and society. Governor Patel highlighted that it is fortunate to have Shri Modi’s visionary and sensitive leadership for the Janman villages. The Prime Minister, especially sensitive towards the tribal community, has made special provisions in the budget to provide 11 basic facilities, including housing, education, water, roads, and irrigation. Additionally, mobile medical vans have been made available for tribal villages, offering health checkups and treatment facilities.
