Mumbai, Mar 1 (Reporter) Maharashtra IT Minister Advocare Ashish Shelar on Saturday urged public to lay emphasis on low carbon emissions for conservation of environment.
Speaking at a state-level Maharashtra Petroleum and Natural Gas Industry, enabled ' Saksham 2024-25: Clean Environment through Green and Clean Energy' programme held at Yashwantrao Chavan Centre here, he said, "We have to import mineral oil from other countries. It becomes more expensive due to increase in transport costs. Gas-powered vehicles like autorickshaws, taxis reduce carbon emissions. If carbon emissions are reduced, the oxygen content in atmosphere will be rectified..."
