Srinagar, Oct 28 (Reporter) J&K Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Ravinder Raina on Monday said the people of Jammu and Kashmir should unite and fight the menace of militancy together. Raina said this while talking to media persons on Monday after visiting Dr Shahnawaz’s house in Bdugam who was killed in a militant attack along with six other persons at a construction site near Sonamarg in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on October 20, “The Government and the security forces are doing their duties but people should also unite and fight the menace of militancy together”, Raina said. The BJP President said that we all have to fight together against militancy. He said the Jammu and Kashmir government should also come out with a policy to fight against such incidents and similarly the people need to fight untidily to defeat such conspiracies. “Some people do not want to see peace and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir”, Raina said and added “Those who are enemies of peace, the enemies of Kashmir and its people are repeatedly trying and making efforts to deteriorate the situation. But we all should unite and fight against these forces”, he asserted. “The situation was better in Kashmir after about ten years but again conspiracies are being hatched to deteriorate the peaceful atmosphere”, he said and added “We all must fight against these conspiracies”. The BJP leader said “Our priorities are to restore peace, prosperity, brotherhood.. Nobody wants any of their family members to become the victim of militancy”. “The gun, grenade, pistol, bullets game should now end as it will not do right to anybody”, he asked. A bullet never sees the cast and creed it is killing humanity, Raina said and added the killing of innocent people should stop.
