Yerevan, Jan 19 (Reporter) Armenia needs a new constitution, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Friday. "In my opinion, as well as in the opinion of a number of colleagues, and I express this opinion so that it becomes the subject of wider discussion, the Republic of Armenia needs a new constitution, not constitutional amendments, but a new constitution," Pashinyan said. The world is changing; the South Caucasus region will inevitably change, as will Armenia, the official said. "This change can be treated in different ways. But no matter how we feel about evolution, it happens. Therefore, our position and approach should not be to stop this evolution, which in itself is illogical, because by stopping evolution, we will come to degradation, but to govern in accordance with the state interests of the Republic of Armenia," Pashinyan concluded...////...
