Pak Rangers violate ceasefire along IB in Jammu, BSF retaliate

Jammu, Feb 14 (Reporter) The Pakistan Rangers on Wednesday violated the ceasefire by firing unprovoked along the International Border in Ranbir Singh Pura sector, some 35 kilometres from here. Official sources said that at around 1810 hours, Pakistan Rangers fired unprovoked at BSF posts in forward Allah Mai Ke Kothe (AMK) area of R S Pura. "It was LMG firing that lasted for 15 to 20 minutes," they said adding that the BSF retaliated effectively to the firing. "No injury, loss of life or major damage was reported in the firing," they said. Sources added that alert BSF troops are maintaining close watch on the borders...////...
