"The number of people reported to have been injured currently stands at 109. Four people remain in hospital being treated for their injuries," the police department said in a statement on Monday. An investigation into the incident is ongoing, and the police are collecting eyewitness statements, the statement added. In late May, a car hit a crowd of people celebrating Liverpool's victory in the English Premier League. The driver of the car was a 53-year-old British man, who was later detained.
