Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that a Youth Kumbh should be organised to guide and empower the youth of the state. This event should be called the "Gyan Mahakumbh." He suggested that at least once a year, renowned scientists should be invited to colleges for interactive dialogues and group discussions with students. This would help enhance students’ knowledge of science and technology.
To improve general awareness among students, general knowledge competitions should be conducted in every division. This will keep young minds updated on global innovations and current affairs. Dr. Yadav also directed that all colleges in the state be evaluated at the state level and a tradition be started to award the Best College, Best Principal, and Best Teacher in three separate categories.
He was addressing the review meeting of the Higher Education Department held at Samatva Bhavan, the Chief Minister's residence, on Thursday.
