Jammu, Oct 20 (Reporter) Crediting the Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for empowering Jammu by giving him the ministerial berth, Cabinet minister Satish Sharma on Sunday said that the Omar Abdullah led present government will bring back the statehood to assure jobs and aspire entrepreneurs. “The present government will ensure to bring back the statehood so that the jobs can be assured and aspiring entrepreneurs are supported,” said Sharma addressing a gathering of local supporters, workers and prominent citizens and civil society here at Muthi after his rousing reception in Jammu after being inducted into the cabinet. Satish has been assigned the charges for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs; Transport; Science and Technology; Information Technology, Youth Services and Sports and ARI and Trainings Departments. He won from the Chhamb Assembly Constituency as an Independent candidate. Sharma remarked that the government will be working with the public and for the public and will ensure development of communities without any distinction of religion, caste or area. He thanked the voters of Chammb constituency for paying back to the work of visionary leader and his father Late Madan Lal Sharma, who served J&K as MLA Chammb, Minister as well as Member of Parliament. Satish assured the locals and Civil Society members that under the leadership of visionary Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, marginalized and needy people will get their due consideration.
