The 'One District-One Product' (ODOP) Expo, organized at the Global Investors Summit (GIS) in Bhopal, provided a global platform for local artisans and farmers. The expo showcased distinctive ODOP products from 38 districts, presenting a unique blend of tradition and innovation.
During GIS-Bhopal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi described ODOP as a powerful initiative toward an Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India). He emphasized that each district's unique product can become its cultural and economic identity. The ODOP program has paved the way for turning local products into global brands.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav mentioned that the ODOP-Expo at GIS-Bhopal has offered our local products, especially handicrafts and agricultural products, an opportunity to gain global recognition.
