Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh) , Mar 22 (Reporter) A north-south trough runs from North interior Karnataka to south Tamil Nadu at 1.5 km above mean sea level, Meteorological Centre said on Saturday. In a daily weather report here, it said that Friday’s trough or wind discontinuity from south Chhattisgarh to South Interior Karnataka across Telangana and North Interior Karnataka at 1.5 km above mean sea level has become less marked. Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next three days. Strong winds with speed ranging from 40-50 Kmph is likely to occur at isolated places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the same period. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at one or two places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next three days and in Rayalaseema during the next four days. Dry weather is likely to prevail in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam from March 25 to 28 and in Rayalaseema from March 26 to 28.
