Nitish offers Rs 50 lakh compensation to the martyr Md Imtiyaz

Patna, May 13 (Reporter) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced an ex gratia of Rs 50 lakh to the family of BSF sub-inspector Mohd Imtiyaz, who was martyred during Operation Sindoor. Kumar said here on Tuesday that Rs 29 lakh will be given from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund and Rs 21 lakh from the state exchequer. The compensation amount will be handed soon. The mortal remains of BSF Sub-Inspector Mohammed Imteyaz, who was killed in the cross-border shelling by Pakistan, were laid to rest on Monday evening at his native village Narayanpur of Garkha police station area of Saran district of Bihar...////...
