Patna/ Darbhanga, Jan 11 (Reporter) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated as well as laid the foundation stones of 186 schemes worth over Rs 1500 crore for the development of Darbhanga. Kumar who arrived here on Saturday during the second phase of his Pragati Yatra, inaugurated 89 schemes completed at an expenditure of Rs 935.28 crore and laid the foundation stones for 97 projects worth Rs 561.75 crore. During his yatra the CM visited various panchayats, blocks and took stock of the ongoing schemes related to education, health, and infrastructure. The Chief Minister directed the authorities to complete the ongoing projects in the district at the earliest for the convenience of the local people and to boost tourism. The Chief Minister also provided a cheque worth Rs 9 crore 87 lakh 86 thousand symbolically to 2391 families under sustainable lively hood scheme and a cheque worth Rs 284 crore 79 lakh symbolically through bank credit linkage for extending financial assistance to 93536 jivika didis...////...
