Nitish announces construction of an Industrial Park in Vaishali

Patna, Jan 06 (Reporter) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced the construction of an industrial Park on 1293 acre area along the Amas-Darbhanga roadside in Vaishali district. Kumar made this announcement during his tour to Vaishali district on Monday where he assured to address the problems of the district. Given the power problems in several blocks of the district, the Chief Minister said that a grid substation would be constructed in Mahua and new power substations would also be established in 4 different blocks. To save the people from flood and water logging, Kumar said that an embankment would be constructed and the existing structure of the embankment would be strengthened on the Gandak River towards the Hajipur side. In addition to this distillation would be done in the Vaya River which causes floods at several places, he said adding that it would save people from flood living in 8 blocks. Kumar said that Barailla Lake, an important Bird Sanctuary where migrant Birds visit in large numbers would be beautified. He also announced the establishment of a Degree College in Goraul so that the students of the adjoining area do not go to faraway places for higher education...////...
