Mumbai, June 11 (Reporter) The new petrol and diesel prices were announced at 6 am on Wednesday and communicated to citizens across Maharashtra. According to Wednesday data, petrol prices in most Maharashtra cities are above Rs 104 per litre, while diesel prices generally exceed Rs 91 per litre. Petrol and diesel prices are a crucial topic for the common people of Maharashtra, as many try to estimate inflation based on these rates. In Ahmednagar, petrol is priced at Rs 104.59 per litre and diesel at Rs 91.12 per litre. Akola records petrol at Rs 104.64 and diesel at Rs91.18 per litre. Amravati shows petrol at Rs 104.88 and diesel at Rs 91.41 per litre. Additionally, in Aurangabad, petrol is priced at Rs 104.53 and diesel at Rs 91.05 per litre. Bhandara and Beed have petrol prices of Rs 104.67 and Rs 105.50 respectively, with diesel at Rs 91.21 and Rs 92.03 per litre. Other cities such as Buldhana, Chandrapur, Dhule, Gadchiroli, Gondia, Hingoli, Jalgaon, Jalna, Kolhapur, Latur, Mumbai City, Nagpur, Nanded, Nandurbar, Nashik, Osmanabad, Palghar, Parbhani, Pune, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sangli, Satara, Sindhudurg, Solapur, Thane, Wardha, Washim, and Yavatmal have petrol prices ranging from Rs 103.50 in Mumbai to Rs 105.97 in Nandurbar, and diesel prices from Rs 90.03 in Mumbai to Rs 99.43 in Palghar. These price fluctuations depend on international crude oil market trends and local factors such as VAT, transportation charges, and state taxes.
