Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that the state government has taken a significant step to double the income of the state's dairy producers and promote milk production. A collaboration agreement was signed between the M.P. State Cooperative Dairy Federation Limited, associated dairy unions, and the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) for five years, which can be extended by mutual consent. The agreement will primarily focus on establishing collection centers in every gram panchayat, increasing the processing capacity of dairy unions, and expanding the number of dairy committees. As a result, the income of dairy producers will witness an unprecedented rise. This collaboration agreement, signed in the presence of Union Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah on Sunday, is expected to bring about a revolution in milk production. This agreement is a significant achievement for the state government in the dairy sector.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav mentioned that the state's Sankalp Patra-2023 includes provisions for ensuring milk procurement and helping dairy farmers get the right price for milk by opening dairy cooperative societies and collection centers in every gram panchayat. The agreement will also contribute to the expansion of milk coolers, mini dairy plants, and chilling centers in each district under the White Revolution Mission with an investment of Rs. 2500 crore. This will strengthen the cooperative system and the Sanchi brand under the state’s Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department.
