Saturday was proved a historic day for Madhya Pradesh as Union Minister for road Transport and Highways Shri Nitin Gadkari and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav jointly inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of nine road projects covering 174 kilometres, with a total investment of over Rs. 4,250 crore. Among these is the country’s largest flyover—Damoh Naka-Ranitall-Madanmahal-Medical Road Flyover. At the grand event held at Mahanadda in Jabalpur, Shri Gadkari also announced new road development projects worth more than Rs. 60,000 crore for Madhya Pradesh. For the first time in the country, a Central Road Fund (CRF) of Rs. 1,200 crore has been approved for the Rani Durgavati Flyover in Jabalpur.
