Patna, Nov 25 (Reporter) National Democratic Alliance (NDA) on Monday declared to hold its district level meetings from January 15 to February 25 next year to achieve the target of winning 225 seats in 2025 Bihar assembly election.
State presidents of all constituents of NDA announced the decision in a joint press conference, saying district level meetings would be organised for better coordination of all NDA workers and leaders at grass root level to achieve the goal of winning 225 seats in the next Bihar assembly election slated for 2025. Best performance of NDA was in 2010 assembly election when the alliance had won 206 seats , they pointed out.
Bihar BJP president Dilip Jaiswal said that there was no alternative to NDA in Bihar as RJD leaders only tried to divide the society on caste lines for its electoral advantage. NDA had won all four seats in assembly by-elections held on November 13 and results were declared on November 23, he added.
"Belaganj seat was held by RJD for the last 34 years but party lost it to BJP in just concluded by-election", the state BJP President said adding that charisma of RJD president Lalu Prasad Yadav had also faded as he could not change the fate of party despite campaigning even in poor health conditions. His son Tejaswi Prasad Yadav had confined Lalu like parrot in a cage, he remarked.
Bihar JD(U) president Umesh Kushwaha said that NDA had won in 177 assembly segments in 2024 Lok Sabha election while Grand Alliance could maintain its lead in 66 seats only. All district level, block level and panchayat level leaders would participate in the proposed meeting, he added.
"First two meetings would be held in Bagaha and West Champaran on January 15 while next day meeting would be organised in East Champaran ", Kushwaha said. Decision to hold district level meetings of NDA was taken in a meeting of top NDA leaders at CM residence chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar , he added.
State presidents of HAM, LJP and RLM also expressed their opinion on the occasion. They claimed that NDA would give best ever performance in 2025 Bihar assembly election...////...
