Vijayawada, June 1 (Reporter) Most of the national exit surveys predicted the victory of Telugu Desam-Jana Sena-BJP alliance which is part of NDA in Andhra Pradesh. However, some state-level agencies have predicted the return of Jagan Mohan Reddy headed YSRCP to power.
The exit polls, which came out on Saturday evening, have given a clear edge to the TDP alliance in Andhra Pradesh. Most of the national agencies that conducted exit polls have predicted 100 plus seats for the TDP, Jana Sena and BJP alliance.
The RISE agency in its exit poll has given 113 to 122 Assembly seats to the TDP alliance, while 48 to 60 seats were given to the YSR Congress. Janagalam has given 104 to 118 seats to the TDP alliance, while it has given 44 to 57 seats to the ruling YSRCP.
The Chanakya Strategies has predicted 114 to 125 seats to the TDP while it has given just up to 39 to the YSR Congress. The Pioneer has given 144 seats to the TDP alliance while it has predicted that the YSR Congress could win only 31 seats.
The exit poll conducted by the KK Services has given the highest number of 161 seats to the TDP alliance, and just 14 seatsto the YSR Congress. Most of the national exit polls are in favour of the TDP alliance predicting a big victory for the TDP and its alliance partners.
Interestingly, one state level agency Aara predicted that the YSRCP would win 94 to 104 seats. The Atmasakshi predicted that the YSRCP would win 98 to 116 seats. The race has given 117 to 120 seats to the YSRCP. The state has 175 Assembly seats and 25 LS seats. The TDP won only 23 MLA seats and three LS seats in the 2019 elections.
Meanwhile, responding to the exit polls predictions, AP government advisor (Public Affairs) Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said that most of the exit poll results indicate the election victory of YSRCP which they had already expected.
