Kolkata, Oct 10 (Reporter) Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda sought the blessings of Maa Durga and her divine inspiration to stand upright and fight against the devils for justice of humanity. Nadda who is on a visit to this metropolis on Thursday greeted the people of West Bengal and sought the blessings of Maa Durga and her divine inspiration to stand upright and fight against the devils for justice of humanity. After landing at the city Airport Nadda, who is also the National President of BJP went straight to the Ramakrishna Mission headquarters at Belur Math and sought blessings of Ma Durga and the Maharaj of the mission. " Blessed to experience the divine atmosphere of Belur Math and seek the blessings of Maa Durga. As the entire nation celebrates the auspicious festival of Navratri, I feel fortunate to have offered my prayers at this sacred place in Howrah. May Maa Durga bestow her blessings upon the people," Nadda said on his X handle. His visit happened at a time when the junior doctors of the government hospitals are on protest since August 9, the day a 31--year-old lady doctor was found raped and murdered at the place of her work in RG Kar hospital in north Kolkata. Nadda was accompanied by Bengal BJP unit President Sukanta Majumdar and the leader of the Opposition in the West Bengal Assembly Suvendu Adhikari. The Union Minister then visited a community puja pandal at Santosh Mitra Square in central Kolkata. Nadda is scheduled to visit another Durga Puja pandal at Salt Lake and then attend a meeting at a hotel in New Town of senior citizens organised to convey gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the Centre's decision to declare Bengali as one of the classical Indian languages...////...
