Solan, June 2 (Reporter) BJP National President and Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda on Monday participated in the Tiranga Yatra organised by Solan district BJP unit in Himachal Pradesh, aimed at boosting the morale of the armed forces and invoking patriotism.
The yatra commenced from Solan Mall Road with slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” echoing through the streets.
Nadda, riding an open jeep, was warmly welcomed by thousands of BJP workers and social organisations. He interacted with the crowd, shaking hands and energising the workers with his presence.
In his speech, Nadda flayed the state government for the "poor" law and order situation.
State BJP President Rajiv Bindal called the event a wave of enthusiasm, stating that people of all ages joined the yatra in a patriotic spirit. He thanked Nadda for his participation and extended gratitude to the armed forces for their bravery.
Bindal also sharply criticised the Himachal Pradesh government over the handling of the mysterious death of Vimal Negi. He accused the Chief Minister of avoiding cooperation in the probe and questioned the disappearance and reappearance of a crucial pen drive.
He highlighted how the Superintendent of Police withdrew a petition against the CBI only under public pressure. Bindal said increasing incidents of murder, rape, robbery, and drug abuse have eroded public trust in the state government, which he held responsible for the worsening law and order.
Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur, BJP National Vice President Saudan Singh, and several other senior leaders attended the program...////...
