Mumbai, Sep 6 (Reporter) Observing that the political environment in the state is favourable for Maha Vikas Aghadi, AICC in-charge of Maharashtra, Ramesh Chennithala, predicted on Friday that the Maha Vikas Agadhi (MVA) will form the next state government with a two-thirds majority.
Addressing media here, he said that the work of reviewing preparations for the assembly elections was going on and so far, the Congress party has reviewed 172 constituencies.
The review of all 288 constituencies will be completed by September 25, he informed.
Since the political environment in the state is favourable for MVA, the public opinion is in favour of change in the government, he said and called for pulling down the corrupt coalition government from power.
Chennithala expressed concerned over deteriorating law and order situation in the state, saying that there has been a spike in incidents of murder, robbery and violence against women.
With inflation out of reach, it has become difficult for common people to celebrate festivals, he said.
Even as people of the state are suffering, the Mahayutti government is busy collecting money through scams, added Chennithala.
