Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel has said that music always appeals to the heart and holds an important place in every phase of a person’s life. He expressed these views while addressing the 6th Convocation Ceremony of Raja Mansingh Tomar Music and Arts University, Gwalior, on Sunday. The ceremony was presided over by renowned Kabir folk singer Padma Shri Kaluram Bamaniya. Eminent tabla maestro and academician Prof. Kiran Deshpande was present as the special guest.

Governor Shri Patel stated that Raja Mansingh Tomar Music and Arts University is playing a significant role in promoting Indian music. Many of the university's students have established unique identities in the field of music. He emphasized that the youth should contribute to the nation's development with their full potential. The students who have been felicitated at the convocation should, through music, also contribute to national progress.
